Overland Conveyor Company is offering open enrollment training for belt conveyor engineering, taught through Belt Analyst™ by the mechanical engineers who created the software and use it every day in active consulting work. Register below.

Whether you design conveyors, operate them, or keep them running, this course builds the engineering foundation to do it better—using Belt Analyst™ as the vehicle, not the destination. This is the first in a series of activities Overland Conveyor Company is planning to mark its 30th anniversary.

Training Goal

Build a deep understanding of belt conveyor design principles and develop the judgment to

apply them confidently—in new designs, component selection, and day-to-day operational

decisions.

Session Details

Dates: September 15–17, 2026

Location: The Kiln Denver—2650 W Belleview Ave, Suite D-100, Littleton, CO 80123

What’s Covered

The course follows the Belt Analyst™ Standard Curriculum across three structured days.

Day 1: Content Engineering Foundations

Approximately 25% mechanics and 75% critical thinking—equipping attendees to interpret

results and understand the design process, not just operate the software. Covers belt conveyor engineering fundamentals, software navigation, material characteristics, idler selection, power calculations, drives, and take-up design.

Day 2: Conveyor Analysis & Component Design

Advanced belt, pulley, and vertical curve analysis; introduction to dynamic analysis. Builds

directly on Day 1 content.

Day 3: Advanced Training: Dynamic & Data Driven Analysis

Finite element analysis, complex start/stop scenarios, Data Driven Analysis, power optimization, and multi-drive configurations applied to real-world example conveyors. For attendees who have completed Days 1–2 or experienced Belt Analyst™ users new to Dynamic Analyst™.
