Belt Analyst™                                                             Program Revisions    Compare Versions        Cost        Downloads        eTraining

Designed by conveyor engineers for conveyor engineers. This is not just software, but a real engineering tool.

Complete design evaluation of any bulk material handling belt conveyor. You can input any vertical and horizontal profile with up to 360 flights, 48 pulleys and 20 unique drive locations.

Use the older and well documented CEMA 5th Edition calculation methods, the newest universal CEMA 6th Edition power methods or the International ISO/DIN methodology.
Handy graphics of the cross sectional area, profile and tension diagram as well as many design RED flags makes make this the easiest program to use.

Handy databases of belt constructions, idler characteristics and common material properties make the selection process seamless. Use the databases provided or create your own custom data.

The automatic calculation routines make component selection easy. Or input the actual component data when each is selected and purchased.
The NEW pulley setup Wizard helps input all the belt line dimensions and automatically calculates all the pulley wrap angles. A 2 dimensional to scale drawing shows you exactly what you have input and exactly what is used in the calculations.

Define pulley blocks for your take-up and drives to help automate the process.

Use idlers from the database, or customize as necessary. Build an idler from 1 to 5 rolls with any roll lengths and angles.
A NEW 3-D viewer shows to-scale drawing of any section of the conveyor or the whole thing. Rotate, pan and scale. Take a snapshot to put into a report or presentation.

A great new visual tool.

The NEW Lagging Analyst evaluates the interaction of the belt and lagging at each drive pulley. Even though the drive may not bodily slip, there is often local slip known as “creep” that causes the lagging to wear. With the increased use of ceramic lagging, if local slip is not completely eliminated, wear will be accelerated on the belt cover.
Automatically check many loading conditions wit the click of one button. Check the worst case loading conditions or quickly check a complete load on and load off sequence in a flash.
Standard vertical curve calculation are automatic for any angle change greater than 1 degree. Check the belt stresses from edge to center, belt lift off and idler loads.

Or calculate vertical curves in much more detail with the “Export to Excel” feature and the custom built Vertical Curve template.
Use idlers from the database, or customize as necessary. Build an idler from 1 to 5 rolls with any roll lengths and angles.
Other Excel templates for transitions and turnovers are included.
Printouts can be sent to any Windows printer, to Excel for customization or directly to the PDF format which is ideal for archiving or emailing.
